Lieke Scherbeijn
Lieke joined the Ashton team early 2023 as the Event Operations Manager, working across all senior level conferences. Her time is split between established events and exciting new launches, where she is integral to the ongoing success.
Lieke was born and bred in the Netherlands. Together with her Dutch partner, they escaped the Netherlands in the GFC to travel the world whereafter they chose Sydney as their new hometown. Prior to working for Ashton, she worked for the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Australia’s longest established PCO. She has over a decade of experience working on large and complex (inter)national Conferences. She is also a Board Director for Dutchlink, a member-based organisation that brings individuals and organisations together, based on a connection with or interest in the Netherlands.
Lieke is an early bird and obsessed with chasing the sunrise while running the coastal track and finishing off with an ocean swim in Bronte. She loves spending time outdoors with her partner and their three beautiful young girls. Camping is one of their favourites!
