Marketing is responsible for the creation and development of Tourism Australia’s brand assets for global campaigns. Marketing manages the roll out of Tourism Australia’s global marketing strategy, ensuring that Australia’s tourism marketing efforts continue to cut through in the competitive international marketplace. Lisa Ronson is the Chief Marketing Officer of Marketing for Tourism Australia.
Lisa Ronson joined Tourism Australia in February 2015. Lisa has over 18 years’ experience in marketing working across a diverse range of brands and industries. Prior to joining Tourism Australia Lisa was the General Manager, Marketing for Westpac. Lisa has also held roles with Carlton and United Breweries as Senior Marketing Manager, with Visa International as Marketing Director for Australia and NZ, with Telstra as Head of Marketing Services and David Jones as General Manager, Marketing.
Lisa has a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing), a post Graduate Diploma in Management as is currently studying for her MBA. Lisa has won numerous advertising and communications awards including a prestigious One Show Silver Pencil Award, an AB&F communications effectiveness award, New York Festival Advertising Award, FACTS TV Award and NZ Silver Advertising Effectiveness Award.
Lisa has also previously held Board positions for the Australian Association of National Advertisers and the Global Banking Alliance for Women.
