Senior Digital Marketing Manager – Full Time
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Digital Marketing Manager to lead, execute and continuously improve our digital marketing strategies for our portfolio of industry-leading conferences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine creativity, technical expertise, and strategic thinking to drive audience engagement and attendance.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy
– In conjunction with the Marketing Director, design the overall marketing strategy for each conference. From the overall brand creative, through to the onsite registration experience and on to the post event surveys and analysis.
– Communicate and collaborate the marketing strategy with key stakeholders within the business.
– Select and manage key marketing and strategic partners.
Email Marketing
– Write, design, and manage mass email communications using MailChimp.
– Optimise email campaigns for engagement and conversion while adhering to SPAM, privacy, and GDPR regulations.
Social Media Management
– Develop and execute social media campaigns across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
– Write and create engaging social media content and advertising materials.
Content Creation
– Research and develop compelling content such as animations, infographics, and podcasts (design can be outsourced; focus on ideation and execution).
– Manage and improve our YouTube channel by creating and optimising video content.
SEO & Paid Advertising
– Research and implement SEO strategies to enhance organic search rankings.
– Design, implement, and manage Google AdWords campaigns, including keyword research.
– Develop and manage remarketing campaigns on Facebook and the Google Ad Network.
Campaign Management
– Design and implement customer referral campaigns to encourage attendee and sponsor referrals.
– Test and learn new initiatives to continuously improve marketing performance.
Analytics & Reporting
– Analyse campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and provide actionable insights.
– Regularly report on marketing KPIs and ROI.
Website Management
– Maintain and update event websites using WordPress.
– Leverage basic HTML skills for customisation and troubleshooting.
Event Management Platform
– Utilise the event management platform Stova to support event-related marketing activities – this is a nice to have, we can provide training if required.
Additional Opportunities (Desirable Skills):
– An interest in photography to serve as an event photographer during live events is a bonus but not required.
About You:
– Proven experience (5+ years) in digital marketing, preferably within the B2B event space.
– Proficiency with marketing tools and platforms such as MailChimp, WordPress, Google AdWords, and social media advertising platforms.
– Strong understanding of SEO principles and experience with Google Analytics.
– Creative mindset with the ability to ideate and execute diverse content formats.
– Working knowledge of SPAM, privacy, and GDPR compliance.
– Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
– Experience with Stova or similar event management platforms is highly desirable.
– A wicked sense of humour blended with a natural desire to get-stuff-done, will also serve you well.
