Barney Pierce is the strategy and business lead for Google’s Marketing Technology Platforms for AUNZ, and member of Google’s AUNZ leadership team. Barney and his team inspire customers to use the best of Google’s Marketing Technology and data to transform their marketing.
Barney has been with Google for over 10 years, working in a variety of sales, strategy, and product commercialisation leadership roles and across the US, APAC and AUNZ markets. In his previous role, Barney was responsible for Google’s Display and Marketing Technology go to market strategy in APAC. This included testing, launching and scaling new products that improve the marketing capabilities of partners in the region.
Prior to Google, Barney was a Marketing Professional for over 8 years, working for organisations including Citibank, InterContinental Hotels Group and a successful Australian start-up IT Services Company called KAZ Computers. Barney is also a graduate of The University of Sydney’s Economics Faculty.
