Jay is a highly experienced Global Learning & Organisational Development Manager, who has designed, delivered and led learning & OD functions, transformation, and teams in large organisations in multiple industry sectors.
He brings a demonstrated and innovative mindset and can be an agent of change who is comfortable balancing efficiency/cost considerations with the need to provide high-quality, scalable strategic capability solutions. His early career has been in the IT industry and this has positioned him favorably to be a thought leader in the intersection of learning and technology.
In his previous role as the ‘Head of Digital Learning’ at NAB, he transformed the way learning takes place by bringing together world-class content, technology to deliver anything, anytime, anywhere to anyone and a robust model of social learning. This has resulted in the development of the largest cloud-certified workforce in the southern hemisphere, continuous learning at NAB through the pandemic, and providing a foundation of learning for the future of work.
Jay spends his spare time photographing the night sky, especially the milky way and the city lights of Melbourne. He also sponsors a school in India for poverty-stricken children. It is his principle of education being the best way out of poverty.
