A global digital thought-leader, Nicolas Chu has extensive experience in building and managing online and technology businesses, from start-ups to large corporates in Europe, the US and Asia Pacific.

He is the CEO and founder of Sinorbis, an international business headquartered in Sydney that aims to revolutionise the way western companies and organisations do digital marketing in China through an innovative cloud-based marketing platform.

He is an active investor (seed and early stage deals) and also serves as a board director of several companies and organisations.

Recently, he was the global President of HotelClub and Ebookers, two leading global online companies operating in more than 30 markets with an annual turnover of US$2.5 billion. HotelClub and Ebookers were part of Orbitz Worldwide, which was acquired in 2015 by Expedia Inc. for US1.6bn.

He is a frequent speaker at Internet conferences around the globe, is the author of “How to Succeed in a Website Project” (Eyrolles Publishing – 6th edition), and lectured at the Diderot University of Paris for Master’s degree programs as an adjunct professor for seven years.
