Pia Neema is the Head of Talent for Kraft Heinz Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and Japan. In her role, she oversees Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning & Development and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging. Prior to this role, she has spent 14 years in various HR roles at companies such as Mondelez International, 7-Eleven, KPMG and Allens, with the most recent role being the Head of HR Business Partnering for the Commercial & Corporate side of the Kraft Heinz business.
Pia did her graduate studies at the University of Melbourne where she achieved first-class Honours. She majored in Human Resource Management and Marketing and completed a thesis on rewards and incentives in the aged-care industry. This is where she developed a passion for understanding what truly drives and motivates an individual to achieve high-performance in the workplace, and what tools leaders can leverage to enable their talent to achieve their full potential and bring their best self to work.
Outside of work, Pia is a dedicated mum and loves to spend time reading and singing (terribly) with her 18-month-old daughter and binging Netflix with her husband. A perfect Friday night for her is having good cheese, good wine, good company – and board games for some fun and healthy competition.
