Rob Galluzzo

Executive Producer/Founder

Finch

Rob Galluzzo began his career agency side at Y&R, first as the mailroom boy, and eventually as Head of TV, before moving to become Managing Director at @radical.media, Sydney. In 2011, Galluzzo founded FINCH – a company that channeled his diverse passions for film craft, advertising and technology. The broad scope of Galluzzo’s skills has been recognised internationally; winning gold in multiple categories including innovation, film, experiential and craft. Rob’s commitment to innovation and desire to impact culture has led him to launch multiple high profile technology initiatives. One is 2018’s the Lion’s Share, a worldwide initiative that will see animals raising money for their own habitat and welfare, by introducing a global system of image usage rights for wildlife in commercials. Another is 2016’s CreatableTM, a High School creative technology curriculum for girls that ignites their passion for STEM through creative technology. Two other of FINCH’s innovations, The Most Powerful Arm and the patented 37 Degrees glasses, brought home the D&AD Black Pencil for innovation, and a Gold Lion at Cannes respectively, while his entertainment work has been recognised at the International Digital Emmys and the AFIs. Rob has been a jury member of numerous prestigious awards shows – most recently, President of Film Craft at the 2017 Cannes Lions. Further, this year saw Rob become an Oscar nominated filmmaker; nominated for best live action short the 90th Academy Awards, and saw him named in the AdNews Power 50. The culmination of all of these prestigious acknowledgements has led to FINCH being awarded Production Company of the year – two years running.
