Scott is the Chief People Officer at GroupM and has held the position since January 2022. In his role, Scott is a transformation specialist and is responsible for leading GroupM’s AUNZ People strategy and the development of their internal people and culture proposition. Scott has supported the development of the Media Federation of Australia’s first ever united approach to diversity, equity, and inclusion, has been an advisor on the ShEqual gender equity in advertising campaign, is a Menopause@work ambassador, a mental health first aid officer, and a domestic and family violence supporter. Outside of Initiative, Scott volunteers his time at Lifeline Australia as a telephone crisis supporter and brings his passion and support for mental health advocacy into all his work. During his time as a People and Culture leader, scott has helped drive cultural change that has received recognition such as Gold mental health skilled workplace, Gold status as an LGBTI inclusive employer, Small employer of the year at the Australian workplace Equality Index awards, and numerous industry culture award nods, including best culture at the Media Federation of Australia (MFA) awards, B&T awards, AdNews and Campaign Asia. He has been recognised personally through industry awards as a social change leader, champion of change, and was the recipient of Mumbrella’s NeXt generation leader award and a finalist in AdNews emerging leader of the year awards.
