Sophie joined the Messenger team earlier this year from Instagram to focus on growth, platform development, and monetization to determine how it can benefit clients of all sizes alongside the other facebook family of apps.
Sophie works closely with brands to deliver creative solutions that drive business results and efficiencies. As product lead for APAC she is the Voice of Messenger in the APAC Market and the Voice of the APAC Market within Messenger at HQ.
Prior to Instagram, Sophie worked at Facebook for six years, gaining deep experience in branding and launching products into new markets. Sophie started at Facebook London and returned to Australia to set up the Facebook Melbourne office, before moving to join the team in the Sydney office and becoming a very average but enthusiastic surfer often found in North Bondi.
