Vanessa began her career in event management and human resources for major sporting, music, and car racing events, later transitioning into learning in 2006. This now near 15 years of experience in the industry has had her working at the intersection of corporate L&D, Vocational Education and Training, Instructional Design, and Learning Technologies.
In 2020, she won Learning Professional of the Year, Asia Pacific with the Institute of Learning and Performance and the Dr. Alastair Rylatt Award for L&D Professional of the Year 2020 with the Australian Training and Development Institute. Some of you may know Vanessa from her active voice in the learning community.
Vanessa is enthusiastic about raising the profile of the learning industry and creating a community of learning professionals to share knowledge which will ultimately create better learning experiences and prepare us for the future of learning.
