As the world leader in implantable hearing solutions, Cochlear Ltd has operated in mainland China since 1995, and since then it has increasingly become a significant market. In February 2018, Cochlear celebrated its 30,000th customer in China, and in the same month broke new ground on a new manufacturing site in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. Anthony Bishop, President, Cochlear, Asia-Pacific, will share the story in China with particular emphasis on how they did it, the lesson learned, and future ambitions in this market.
