Are you a female leader ready to own the stage?
Are you part of the 77% of people who suffer from fear of public speaking?
You’re a leader in your organisation, on a daily basis you make strategic decisions which influence the direction of your business, you know your shit. But…despite all this, have you ever made yourself smaller in meetings? Kept quiet when you wanted to voice your opinion? Or said no to speaking at internal or industry-wide speaking events because you didn’t you have the confidence to say yes?
We couldn’t be more thrilled to partner with the incredible Erika Cramer, The Queen of Confidence, to create a unique series of workshops for all the amazing female leaders in our networks – to arm them with the tools to say yes, show up, stand up and build their speaker presence.
These workshops are designed to give female leaders like you the confidence to share your abilities, own your voice, take up space, and take to the stage.
You’ll learn:
- The key to building your confidence on stage
- How to communicate with conviction and clarity
- How to magnetise your audience so they feel your energy before you step foot on stage
- How to unpack all of your ideas and turn your content into a powerful message that moves people
- What it takes to be an effective, strong and confident speaker that owns any stage they walk on
We’re working hard behind the scenes to confirm the date of our next workshops, but register your interest here to be the first to know when the next one is announced.
The Why
Ashton Media as a business has publicly committed to the Champions of Change Coalition Panel Pledge, ensuring that our speaker line-ups are at least 50% female, and in 2023 we achieved that with 51% of speakers across all of our events that year being female leaders. We work hard to ensure our speaker line-ups are diverse and representative and we will continue to do so, but unfortunately due to a plethora of reasons, confirming kick-ass female leaders is a challenge.
Here at Ashton Media, we feel actions speak louder than words. We want to do more to create positive change within the industries we work in, and actively empower more women with the tools, mindset and confidence to own their power and say yes to speaking opportunities.
We want to close the “gender stage gap”.
The How
We’re working on confirming the date for our next event, so stay tuned and register your interest for more information.
We want to offer these opportunities free-of-charge for our communities in order to drive real change, but we can’t do it alone. We need the support of our communities to help us move the dial and remove the barriers to entry so that all women regardless of their seniority or L&D budget have access to this opportunity.
We’re raising funds to help cover the costs of running these events, and would love to support.
To donate, big or small, to the cause, click here.
And please note, 100% of contributions will go directly to the production costs of running these events.
