Immerse yourself at a unique forum developed by the leaders of the Learning and Development & HR community

A business’s success lies with its people, so harnessing and nurturing the talent within is crucial in maintaining and growing competitive advantage. The pandemic and the battle for talent has only heightened the importance of the end-to-end employee experience, and HR & L&D leaders need to move quickly to adapt to these changes to set their business and their people up for success.

  • What does a good employee experience look like in a world of hybrid working?
  • How can we ensure our business is future fit by having the right people in the right jobs with the right capabilities to deliver on the strategy?
  • How do we instil a learning culture that fosters proactive development and upskilling?
  • How can we effectively support mental health and wellbeing as part of our people strategy?
  • How we keep up with the pace of change? How can we reskill and upskill at scale?
  • How can we support our leaders to thrive in the new normal?

These are just some of the questions that we’ll tackle at the L&D + HR Symposium on August 2-3rd 2022.

Attendees at the Symposium are hand-picked to ensure the audience represents the most influential minds in the industry. Set in the beautiful Hunter Valley, far from the distractions of the office, attendees are given the rare opportunity to participate in a collaborative learning and networking environment that fosters peer-to-peer learning.

Operating under Chatham House rules, the prestigious forum encourages participants to candidly discuss industry opportunities and challenges and shape the future of workplace learning.

The conference program has been crafted by a highly influential advisory board of L&D and HR leaders. Click the ‘Apply for your place’ button to join the most senior delegation of L&D and HR executives to gather in ANZ. We look forward to welcoming you to the L&D + HR Symposium.

STAND-OUT COMMUNITY OF LEADERS I am so inspired after spending two days with such a stand-out community of leaders at the L&D symposium. The symposium was brimming with ideas, energy, and thought-provoking questions. It exceeded my expectations and has given me so much to put into action for our 2022 strategy!

Simon Wilson

INVALUABLE What a great event to connect the L&D Community from across the country. The combination of thought provoking guest speakers, networking opportunities with other L&D professionals and time built in for conversation was invaluable to come out of the “bubble” of your work environment and lift up the thinking!

Serena Marriott

THE MOST IMPACTFUL The L&D Symposium was the most impactful ‘networking’ event for L&D professionals I have ever been to. The diversity and calibre of speakers was excellent, and I really appreciated having the space and time over several days to meet and talk with L&D leaders with similar types of roles, challenges and contexts – I’ve made many contacts who I know I’ll keep in touch with and can learn from going forward. While the event included a number of sponsors and vendors, their presence genuinely added value and they never tried to push their services. I would definitely recommend L&D Symposium to others – even if it’s the only event you go to all year!
