Terms and Conditions of Entry

  1. Promoter
    The promoter is Ashton Media Pty Ltd (ABN 42 379 917 197), of Level 1, 85 William Street, Darlinghurst, NSW 2010.
  2. Eligibility
    Entry is open only to registered delegates of the L&D Symposium 2025 who:

    • Are aged 18 years or over;
    • Attend the event in person;
    • Complete the competition registration form in full; and
    • Provide express consent for their personal data to be shared with the named prize sponsor.

    Employees, other sponsors of the event, contractors, and immediate family members of Ashton Media Pty Ltd or the prize sponsor are not eligible to enter.

  3. Competition Period
    The competition opens at 3pm on 11 June 2025 and closes at approx. 12.20pm on 13 June 2025.
  4. How to Enter
    To enter the competition, eligible delegates must complete the competition registration form (available onsite during the event) and opt in to allow their registration data to be shared with the competition sponsor. Only one entry per delegate is permitted.
  5. Prize
    There is one (1) prize available, valued at up to AUD $7,000. The nature of the prize (e.g. travel package, tech bundle, etc.) will be as described in promotional materials distributed during the conference.

    The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. The winner must accept the prize as awarded. If the prize is unavailable for any reason, the promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

  6. Draw Details
    The prize draw will take place during the conference on Friday 13 June 2025 in the main conference room at Rydges Resort, 430 Wine Country Dr, Lovedale, NSW. The winner must be physically present in the room at the time of the draw to be eligible. If the drawn winner is not present, another name will be drawn until an eligible, present winner is found.
  7. Notification and Claiming the Prize
    The winner will be announced immediately at the time of the draw. The winner may be required to present identification and sign a prize acceptance form. If the prize is not claimed at the time of the draw, the Promoter may conduct a redraw.
  8. Privacy and Data Sharing
    By entering this competition, entrants agree to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information by Ashton Media and the prize sponsor for marketing and promotional purposes. The information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Ashton Media’s Privacy Policy, available .
  9. Permit Information
    This competition is classified as a “Game of Chance” under NSW law. As the total prize value does not exceed $10,000, a permit is not required under the NSW Fair Trading Trade Promotion Lottery regulations (as of the current legislative framework).
  10. General

    • The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
    • The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
    • The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including indirect or consequential loss) suffered in connection with the competition or prize.
    • By participating, you agree to release and hold harmless Vimeo.com, Inc., Ashton Media Pty Ltd, and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability, loss, injury, or damage arising from or relating to participation in this giveaway or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
