Reimagine Marketing and CX: Engaging with Your Customers of Tomorrow

Putting the customer first has always been pivotal, but it has never been more important. The past few months have shone a light not only on the importance of being customer-centric in our thinking, but also on the need for agility and the ability to swiftly adapt to change.

Being able to meet the needs of customers today, tomorrow and in times of disruption, and being agile enough to do so, often means reimagining our customer operating models and technology systems, allowing us to create relevant, meaningful and rewarding experiences for our customers as effectively and efficiently as possible.

Over the past ten years Sarah has implemented successful marketing and communication strategies for entrepreneurs, start-ups and B2B brands, with her experience spanning across media networks and the agency landscape.

As a Head of Marketing for LinkedIn Marketing Solutions, Sarah is responsible for the APAC enterprise Marketing team’s go to market strategy. Through the development and execution of customer marketing and thought leadership programs, Sarah aims to shape and communicate LinkedIn’s value to the media community in the Indian, Japanese, Singapore, Korean and ANZ markets.

Prior to her role at LinkedIn, Sarah led the marketing and communications function for Foxtel’s advertising sales business, Foxtel Media. Joining the business, then MCN, in 2015, she steered the organisation through major change, and a rebrand to better align with it’s parent company. She was also instrumental in the renovation of one of Sydney’s most historic venues, the Academy Twin theatre, into an interactive media hub: Foxtel on Oxford, to disrupt how the media industry approached upfronts and engage agency and advertising partners.

Sarah was named one of AdNews’ Emerging Leaders of the Year for 2019 and has supported the production and delivery of the TEDxSydney ideas festival over the last seven years. Find out more about Sarah’s experience on LinkedIn here.

Kevin Wordon, Head of Customer Strategy,

Kevin Wordon leads Marketo’s Strategic Consulting services across Australia and New Zealand, helping businesses transform their sales and marketing practices.

Kevin has held a number of high profile leadership roles in marketing, digital, IT, technology and customer experience across world-renowned organisations including Retail Food Group, Flight Centre Travel Group, City Beach, Eagle Boys Pizza, Westfield and Macquarie Leisure.

Kevin is an internationally recognized leader in his field and joined Marketo from Retail Food Group where he was Chief Digital Officer, a global role spanning eight consumer brands and commercial businesses. Prior to RFG, Kevin worked for Flight Centre Travel Group as their Global Head of Digital, spearheading digital transformation for the company’s eight corporate brands.

Kevin has been responsible for delivering a number of multi-million dollar projects including enterprise digital and marketing transformation, business-critical IT and digital projects, one of Australia’s largest customer research programs, large scale loyalty projects, and the rollout of marketing technology globally across 11 countries. Kevin has also delivered more than 140 digital platforms globally across his career, including 121 websites, 8 eCommerce platforms and 11 mobile applications.

Nicholas harnesses over 25 years of professional experience, built across multiple industries and geographies.
