Dropbox Connect
Client: Dropbox
Half day conference for 200 attendees followed by half day customer advisory meeting and VIP dinner. Dropbox partnered with Ashton Media to launch their first ever Australian conference. The purpose of the conference was to launch the brand new positioning of the Dropbox collaboration platform to enterprise size prospects and customers in ANZ. This was Dropbox Australia’s most important event to date with several C level executives from Dropbox US flying in to Sydney to speak.

Your Virtual Cheese and Wine Masterclass
Client: Xandr
An intimate virtual Cheese and Wine tasting on behalf of Xandr, where we hosted 15+ key prospects across Sydney and Melbourne for a Christmas celebration with a difference. With travel restrictions in place, we brought the experience all the way from the countryside to our guests’ living rooms.
Artisan cheese monger Paul Thompson (Artisan Cheese Room, Hunter Valley) and Tennille Chalmers (Chalmers Wines, Heathcote) ran an exclusive Masterclass on two of the best things in life – cheese and wine. On the day, all guests had to do was logon, sit back and relax. They tasted amazing wine and incredible cheese that had been delivered to their door in advance. They learned how regionality, vintage, seasons and provenance all influence the perfect pairing and had plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
Your Virtual Roundtable and Private Cooking Class
Client: Verizon
An intimate virtual roundtable combined with an exclusive cooking
experience on behalf of Verizon for 15 hand‑picked CX leaders across Sydney and Melbourne. With travel restrictions in place, we invited CX prospects from across NSW, VIC and QLD to take part in a premium cooking experience delivered to their door, coupled with an opportunity to explore the role of digital transformation in the customer experience.
We began with an engaging 1-hour discussion delving into digital transformation, and evolving our businesses digital strategies to keep up with the ever changing needs and expectations of the customer. After which attendees were virtually whisked into the kitchen of My Kitchen Rules Judge and two Hat Chef Colin Fassnidge for their very own private and intimate interactive cooking class.
After an hour and a half of fun, and a few glasses of wine, they finished up with dinner for their families and a recipe to show off for years to come!

We brought together over 20 senior marketing leaders to explore “The Future of B2E Customer Experience: Turning Strategy into Reality.”
Beautiful food and immersive conversation at our virtual lunch and discussion groups organised on behalf of Marketo, an Adobe Company. Nicholas Kontopoulos (Adobe) presented, moderators Sarah Tucker (LinkedIn) and Kevin Wordon (Adobe) directed conversations.
A Virtual Fireside Chat with the CCO & CMO of Sendle
Client: Zendesk
In this virtual fireside chat titled “Rules of Engagement: Communicating With Your Customers in Times of Uncertainty”, we are joined by Eva Ross, Chief Customer & Marketing Officer of Sendle and Kellie Hackney, Regional Leader A/NZ, Zendesk. Ross shared what COVID-19 meant for them as a business, the role of community and brand purpose in their response, and the lessons we can take with us.

Throughout the entire delivery process Ashton were incredibly professional, creative and thorough. They took the time to understand our objectives, which they delivered on, and developed the content with our team and client. We came away with a professionally filmed piece of long-form video content that stands out from the crowd. STRONG NETWORK & LEVEL OF OWNERSHIP Ashton Media partnered with us for our customer event in Australia “Dropbox Connect” in June 2019. Dropbox Connect is our highest profile event for the year in Australia and was attended by Dropbox senior executives from headquarters. Ashton Media was tasked with the sourcing of impactful keynote speakers, finding an appropriate venue and contributing to a relevant turnout. Ashton Media's strong network of keynote speakers, understanding of the type of content that would resonate with our audience, along with a strong level of ownership in building an audience resulted in a well-attended event with top quality content that generated strong positive feedback and commercial outcomes.
THE STRATEGY AND EXECUTION WERE OUTSTANDING We worked with the team at Ashton Media on a private dinner to help us build relationships with and garner insights from a hard to reach a group of Melbourne agency leaders. From the time we first spoke about the project, the strategy and execution they put into place were outstanding. We had a very specific target list and the team delivered all of them, and, we had zero no-shows on the night. Our guests loved it and we are confident it will help us grow our business in Melbourne.
