Rachel Mervis
Global Programmatic Capability Lead, Kimberly-Clark (US)
Rachel leads programmatic at global FMCG juggernaut Kimberly-Clark, heading up ad technology, processes, and capability building as part of a company-wide digital transformation. KC brands are sold in 175 countries and they had $19.1 billion in sales in 2020. Her previous role was Global Programmatic Lead at Nestlé where she designed and enacted the Global Programmatic Framework covering strategy, operations, technology enablers, and capability building encompassing planning, buying, and measurement. Rachel co-ideated, planned, and launched the Global Digital Media Center of Competencies (Finalist for Best In-House Media Team, Ad Exchanger 2020) building consistent, high standards for media operations globally and developing a stronger global media community.
Three of her specific achievements with Nestlé include:
– Designing end-to-end audience first planning into creative and media
– Ideating and bringing to life a tool for always-on auditing of best-in-class programmatic operations
– Designing a comprehensive Digital Responsibility Plan to ensure quality media purchasing
Rachel was born in a small town, however, has now ventured to 40+ countries. On her bucket list is to go on a paleontology dig and see the turtle hatching in Western Australia. Rachel is also passionate about mentoring teenagers and looks forward to finding an organization to work with.
